چکیده
|
Genre: an introduction to history, theory, research, and pedagogy is a comprehensive overview of a large body of literature in rhetoric and composition. it takes into account different interdisciplinary perspectives such as literary theory, rhetorical theory, applied linguistics, sociology, philosophy, and cognitive psychology. in the series' editor preface of the book, charles bazerman states that this book is a very rich resource that provides means for understanding different aspects of communication, social arrangements, and human meaning-making which are all packaged in genre recognition. he believes that the book can help students, teachers, and writers to develop an insight in exploring what genre means. the book has three parts, each of which consisting of some interrelated chapters.
